Leeds Rhinos have confirmed that Betfred Super League’s most prolific try-scorer Danny McGuire and their longest-serving and most successful overseas player Kylie Leuluai will feature in Sunday’s fixture against Bradford Bulls at Emerald Headingley Stadium.
The duo will join Rhinos legends Jamie Peacock, Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Rob Burrow on the field in the closing stages of Sunday’s testimonial game for Jones-Buchanan. The game will also raise money to support the fund for Rob Burrow, who was recently diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
Leeds Rhinos Director of Rugby, Kevin Sinfield, said: “I would like to say a massive thank you to all our former players who have been in touch over the last month to help support Rob.
“Whilst only six will take the field, we know we ae representing them all out there. There are lots of former teammates of Rob and Jamie coming to the game and it will be an unparalleled occasion.”
