The numbers behind the 82-0 victory underline just how dominant the display was.
England enjoyed 55% possession, made 2,129 metres to France's 906, recorded 12 line breaks and amassed 53 tackle busts.
A remarkable ten England players surpassed 100 metres, highlighting the strength of the side's collective effort. Their yardage game and expansive attack also provided the platform for a host of spectacular long-range tries on Saturday.
AJ Brimson led the way with 272 metres, followed by Matty Ashton (224m) and Dom Young (181m), while Sam Walters (144m), Max King (143m), Luke Thompson (139m), Herbie Farnworth (138m), Junior Nsemba (130m), George Williams (118m), and Harry Smith (103m) also reached triple figures.
Brimson's influence extended far beyond his metre-making. The England full-back earned Player of the Match after finishing with one try, three try assists, five line breaks and seven tackle busts in a truly eye-catching display.

Out wide, Farnworth and Young both crossed for hat-tricks. The pair combined for 319 running metres and caused problems for the French defence throughout, recording nine and 11 tackle busts respectively.

England's halves played a key role in the victory, with Smith and Williams each registering three try assists.
This was rather impressive from England skipper Williams, who spent a total of just 58 minutes on the pitch, before making way for Mikey Lewis. He also produced one try, one line break, four tackle busts and 62 kicking metres.

Smith was also influential with the boot, kicking 14 times in play and accumulating 362 kicking metres.
Meanwhile, Ashton marked his Rugby League World Cup debut in style. The winger crossed for a try and made more runs than any other player in the match with 21.
Magic Mikey also made an instant impact from the bench, scoring two tries after entering the action, while Hugo Savala enjoyed another impressive afternoon with the boot in only his second England appearance, converting 13 of his 14 goal attempts.

While England's attack caught the eye, the platform was built through hard work in defence. France were made to complete 75 more tackles than Brian McDermott’s side, as they controlled possession and territory.
England's leading tacklers were Luke Thompson with 32, Kai Pearce-Paul with 31 and Victor Radley with 21, reflecting the effort required during a tense opening spell before England surged away on the scoreboard.
The challenge now turns to Papua New Guinea, with England looking to carry their momentum into a crucial final group game on Friday…
