RFL pays tribute following passing of Martin Lovegrove

It was with great sadness that the RFL learned of the passing of Martin Lovegrove.

Martin was a Club Director at All Golds RLFC, having been involved with the Bristol-based club for many years, and was a member of the RFL's National League Management Group.

Marc Lovering, the RFL's Director of Performance and Development, said: "Staff at the RFL were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Martin. Many people involved in the sport across the South of England knew Martin and had a great deal of respect for him. He will be greatly missed, not only by everyone at All Golds but by the wider rugby league community."

"Our thoughts are with everyone at All Golds and Martin's family and friends."

Martin's funeral will take place at 12 noon on Friday 30 October at Trinity Church, Portland Street, Cheltenham.
