Following the results of the Preliminary Finals this weekend, it can now be confirmed that London Broncos will face Doncaster in the 2026 Betfred Championship Grand Final on Sunday 4 October (KO 3pm).
With Broncos finishing as the highest-ranked winner of the Preliminary Finals, the Grand Final will be hosted at the Cherry Records Stadium.
On Saturday, Doncaster booked their place in the Grand Final with a superb 18-33 victory away at Newcastle Thunder.
The Dons produced a dominant first-half display to take control of the first Preliminary Final, with Bureta Faraimo crossing for a hat-trick and Connor Robinson adding a penalty and drop goal to establish a 19-0 lead at the break.
Doncaster continued their momentum after the interval as Luke Briscoe extended the advantage before Connor Jones added another, putting Richard Horne's side firmly in command.
Thunder responded with tries from Jude Ferreira, Brad Ward and Will Roberts but it proved too little, too late as the visitors comfortably saw out the contest.
The victory caps an impressive Play-Off campaign for Doncaster, who have now progressed to the Grand Final after overcoming Barrow Raiders twice and ending Newcastle's 16-match winning run.
They will now turn their attention to the Grand Final, where they will bid to complete a remarkable Play-Off run and secure Championship silverware.
On Sunday, Broncos secured the remaining Grand Final spot with a dominant display against Oldham, the only side to beat them this season.
James Meadows opened the scoring for London three minutes in, setting the Broncos up for what would prove a powerful half.
By half-time, Jason Demetriou’s side had racked up a huge lead, heading into the break with Oldham scoreless at 40-0.
The second 40 followed a similar pattern. The Roughyeds never gave in, eventually getting on the scoreboard through Morgan Smith and Jake Bibby, but missed conversions left them with just eight points which was not enough to halt a relentless Broncos side (74-8).
London will go into next week's Grand Final looking to complete the treble.
