The RFL is excited to announce that nominations for the 2026 Volunteer Awards are now open, celebrating the outstanding contribution of volunteers across the sport.
These awards recognise the dedication, commitment and impact of volunteers who help make Rugby League possible in communities across the country.
Who can be nominated?
To be eligible, volunteers must be registered on GameDay for the 2026 season. Award criteria can be viewed HERE
Key dates and next steps

Nominations close on 11:59pm August 14th

The shortlist will be announced on 21 August.

The Community Game Strategic Advisory Group, formerly the RFL Community Board, will vote on the winners.

Winners will be presented with their awards throughout September at local club events.

All winners will be announced in October.

All winners will be invited to the 2026 Men’s Betfred Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford.
