It’s Round 19 of the Betfred Championship!
On Saturday, there’s a tasty clash between 4th and 2nd as Barrow Raiders welcome Newcastle Thunder to town.
The Raiders are undefeated in their last six home meetings with Newcastle/Gateshead, having drawn two and won four. A win here would give them the chance to leapfrog Thunder in the table.
The table topping Broncos face Doncaster in Round 19. The sides have met both in league and cup in 2026, with London coming out on top each time.
In their reverse league fixture, the Dons came excruciatingly close to causing one of the biggest upsets, but London’s strength showed in the final ten minutes (16-30).
Sunday sees most of the action is taking place. Oldham entertain Halifax and are searching for a fourteenth straight win. The Roughyeds are sitting third in the table and could close in on Newcastle and London this weekend.
The Bulldogs are at home to the Hurricanes, and it’s a tie between 9th and 8th in the table. A win for both teams is crucial as they look to push for a Play-Off spot come Round 24.
Both Keighley and Dewsbury will be looking to end their losing streaks - the Cougars have lost their last six, whilst the Rams have lost their last three. Who can turn it around this weekend?
Meanwhile, Widnes Vikings travel to Colwyn Bay to play North Wales Crusaders, in hope of further solidifying their place in the top ten.
Salford host Sheffield, with both sides aware of how important the two points are on offer, and what this means for their Play-Off chances.
Whitehaven and Swinton also play one another.
