Thank you to all volunteers across Rugby League!
Monday 1st June to Sunday 7th June is Volunteers Week and the RFL are extremely proud to celebrate the amazing work that Rugby League volunteers do to help us keep the sport moving forward.
Volunteers are a vital part of our community - the Rugby League family and through celebrating Volunteers Week, we look to spotlight the amazing work they do and look to inspire more people to make a difference.
The week represents a chance to recognise, celebrate and thank the UK’s incredible volunteers for all they contribute to our local communities, the voluntary sector, and society as a whole.
Darby Sladdin the RFL’s Volunteer and Social Impact Officer, said:
“Volunteers Week is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the incredible work that our volunteers do. At the RFL, we know that volunteers are a key part of our community, and we appreciate all the hard work and support they dedicate in making Rugby League the incredible sport that it is.
“Throughout the week, we are proud and excited to highlight the incredible work of volunteers across the sport and to give thanks to all the volunteers across our Rugby League family!”
