FLAMINGO Land, Yorkshire’s award-winning theme park, zoo and holiday destination, has continued its backing of rugby league with another significant partnership.
Having already supported Super League’s Magic WKND for the last two years, it has returned once more to unite for the sport’s big festival which will be held for the first time at Everton FC’s Hill-Dickinson Stadium on July 4/5.
However, Flamingo Land has also added further backing, partnering for the Betfred Challenge Cup ahead of its final at Wembley on May 30.
Located near Malton in North Yorkshire, it is an ideal spot for rugby league fans and families looking for a day out, short break or extended holiday.
Flamingo Land’s family adventure park boasts more than 100 rides and attractions, including the incredible Splash Zone – the ultimate, weather-proof experience for all the family.
The park also has one of the UK’s most popular zoos, showcasing everything from iguanas, lions and Sumatran tigers to hippos, rhinos and zebras.
Accommodation at Flamingo Land includes luxury lodges, log cabins, cottages, and caravan and camp sites with four fantastic entertainment venues on site where guests of all ages can enjoy a packed programme of live shows.
Bobby Bahadori, Commercial Director at RL Commercial, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Flamingo Land again.
“The park and resort offer so much to do for the whole family and is very accessible for so many of our fans.
“We will shortly be announcing a family saving offer for Rugby League fans this summer which is another great benefit of this exciting partnership.
Flamingo Land managing director Gordon Gibb added: “With the heartland of Rugby League based in the north of England, and its strong family base, there is a great synergy, and this partnership is a perfect fit for Flamingo Land’’
