It's Southern Conference League & Harry Jepson Grand Finals Day this Saturday

This year’s SCL Grand Finals will be held at Chiswick RFC on Saturday 6 September - with plenty of action to get excited about. 

The Southern Conference League has been a tightly fought season, with eight teams competing for a spot in the Play-Offs.

The season saw great improvements for some teams, notably Bedford Tigers making their inaugural Play-Offs final appearance. This team have demonstrated significant progress, securing a 3rd place finish following a 7th place result in 2024. 

London Chargers also booked a place in the Play-Offs again, while Wests Warriors and Hammersmith Hills Hoists have proven to be tough teams to beat yet again with another strong season. 

The Warriors finished at the top of the table at the end of the regular season with an impressive 26 points and 13 wins from 14. Hills Hoists came in a close second with 24 points.

And Saturday’s semi-finals saw Wests Warriors and Hammersmith Hills Hoists victorious once again, with Wests beating London Chargers 60-6, and Hammersmith seeing off Bedford Tigers 30-10 to both make it to the Grand Final this weekend. 

There is also silverware still to be won for those in the second half of the table, as Bristol All Golds will take on Eastern Rhinos for the SCL Plate title in the first game of the day on Saturday.

Following this, we will see the champion of the Midlands Premier Division, Telford Raiders vs the champion of the London & East Premier Division, Medway Dragons in the coveted Harry Jepson Trophy Final. 

Finals Day on the 6th September is set to be a blockbuster event - all concluded with the SCL Grand Final.
