Betfred Challenge Cup Finals Day will go global in 2025 with its live coverage

Betfred Challenge Cup Finals Day will go global in 2025, with live coverage on Fox League in Australia and Fox Sports and the Rogers network in North America - and available everywhere else through SuperLeague+.
Generations of Australians have set overnight alarms to watch pictures of Rugby League’s big day out at Wembley in the early hours of their Sunday morning – there are reflections in this year’s Wembley match programme from Peter Sterling and Brett Kenny about their experiences playing for Hull FC and Wigan respectively in the classic 1985 Final.
It will be the same again in 2025, with Fox League screening the Betfred Challenge Cup Final from midnight on Saturday, Brisbane and Sydney time – and plenty of southern hemisphere interest as usual, as Willie Peters coaches a Hull KR team including former NRL stars such as Peta Hiku and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, against a Warrington Wolves side coached by Sam Burgess and including Matt Dufty, Paul Vaughan and Lachlan Fitzgibbon.
And before that, Fox League will again cover the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Final, which this year has its strongest ever Australian interest following Wigan’s recruitment of Remi Wilton, Emily Veivers and the Power sisters Shaniah and Tiana.
Live coverage through the USA on Fox Sports follows on from the historic Betfred Super League fixture between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves in Las Vegas in March – and will give American viewers a chance to see Hull KR ahead of their appearance at the Allegiant Stadium against Leeds Rhinos early next year.
And the Betfred Challenge Cup Final will also be shown live in Canada through the Rogers network.
For New Zealand fans keen to watch Waerea-Hargreaves and Hiku, or league lovers in Papua New Guinea who want to cheer on the Warrington centre Rodrick Tai or the PNG Orchids international Veivers, there will be live coverage of both Finals through SuperLeague+, RL Commercial’s streaming platform.
Both matches will be available for the usual game pass rate of £7.99.
And as revealed earlier this week, SL+ will also offer free, live coverage of the last match of Finals Day at Wembley, the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final between Featherstone Rovers and York Knights, which kicks off at 545pm UK time.

Last but not least, RL Commercial will provide live coverage on YouTube of the inspiresport Champion Schools Final between Hull’s Sirius Academy West and Rainford High School, which kicks off the action at Wembley from 10am – on the RFL’s YouTube channel, here.
