Rugby League Commercial are braced for another rush on ticket sales this evening for Betfred Challenge Cup Finals Day in June when the remaining seats in the Warrington Wolves allocation go on general sale.
Hull KR have reported huge demand since their allocation went on general sale immediately after Saturday’s Semi Final victory over Catalans Dragons, with all their initial allocation in the lower bowl in Categories 1, 2 and 3 sold out, leaving only tickets in Categories 4 and 5 in the upper tier available.
After Sunday’s Semi Final win against Leigh Leopards, the Wolves initially rewarded their members with a 24-hour window to buy up to six tickets each.
That window closed at 6pm - meaning all tickets are now on general sale with the exception of the allocations for the winners of next Sunday’s AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Semi Finals.
RL Commercial confirmed last week that the winners of the Semi Final between Oldham and Featherstone Rovers will be allocated seating in the same West Stand as the allocations for Warrington’s supporters and also for Wigan Warriors who will face St Helens in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Final which kicks off the action at 1145am.
That leaves the winners of the 1895 Cup Semi Final between York Knights and Bradford Bulls with an allocation in the East Stand which they will share with the supporters of Hull KR and St Helens Women.
Challenge Cup Final attendances have been on an upward trend for the four seasons since the 2020 Final was played behind closed doors because of the Covid pandemic, with last year’s crowd of 64,845 the best since 2017.
All tickets are being sold through RL Commercial’s ticketing partner Tickets.com, and are available starting at £20 for adults – either from the central ticketing link here or from club-specific links below:
