Brighouse to host 2024 Masters Rugby League AGM

Brighouse to host 2024 Masters Rugby League AGM

The Annual General Meeting of Masters Rugby League will take place at Brighouse A.R.L.F.C on Sunday 4 February 2024 with all member clubs expected to attend.

The 2024 season will kick off on Saturday 23 March followed by five regional events and the annual National Festival in Blackpool.

Alongside the usual AGM business, attendees will discuss the exciting process of representative player and staff selection ahead of an international opportunity in the Autumn of 2024.

2023 was another hugely successful year for the social variant and the session will give clubs the opportunity to reflect on the growth of Masters, set new targets for the year ahead and discuss Terms of Reference proposals.

Masters Rugby League Chair, Peter Longbottom, explains:

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming clubs to the Masters AGM in February – the event gives everyone a chance to catch up after a well-deserved Christmas break as well as setting the wheels in motion for another brilliant season.

“With the Festival dates for 2024 now confirmed, I would urge all of our member clubs to attend to make sure they are up to date with any changes to entry criteria or the Terms of Reference and to also make sure they are informed on the international selection process.”

If you wish to attend the Masters AGM please express your interest t RFL Social Officer, Bradley Kelk, Bradley.Kelk@rfl.co.uk by Friday 26 January. For more information please visit the Masters Rugby League webpage.
