Betfred Championship Round-Up | 1 October

Just four sides remain in contention for promotion to the Betfred Super League, after London Broncos and Bradford Bulls both progressed through their elimination matches.

The first of the two fixtures saw London Broncos make the trip up to South Yorkshire to face Sheffield Eagles.

The Broncos ran riot on their way to the semi-finals. London raced into a 24-0 lead at the break after tries from Dalton Grant, a brace from Jarred Bassett and Jordan Williams with a score before the hooter sounded.

Three minutes into the second 40, Alex Walker added a further try. Before captain, Will Lovell and Dalton Grant completed the scoring in their 42-0 victory. The win will see them travel to League Leaders, Featherstone Rovers.

Bradford Bulls will make the trip to France after they defeated the York Knights.

The Bulls trailed 8-0 in the first half, after a Liam Harris penalty and a Jesse Dee try. But a late fight back in the half gave Bradford the lead after tries from Fenton Rogers and Keven Appo.

Bradford started the brighter of the two sides, with Tom Holmes finishing off a fine move. Two penalties later in the half was enough to secure Bradford a place in the Betfred Championship Semi-Final.
