York City Knights underlined their strong start to the Betfred Championship season with a 32-6 win over Widnes Vikings on Sunday.
In a match billed as a test of York's play-off credentials, Matty Marsh scored two tries while Brendan O'Hagan, Brad Ward, Marcus Stock, and Levi Edwards also crossed.
Adam Lawton got a 20th-minute try for Widnes to cancel out Marsh's opener eight minutes earlier, but it was one-way traffic thereafter as York moved level on points with the visitors.
Barrow Raiders and Featherstone Rovers extended their unbeaten starts but both had to settle for draws on Sunday.
London Broncos picked up their first point of the season as Alex Walker's 79th-minute try, converted by Sitveni Moceidreke, levelled the scores at 18-18 in Cumbria.
Barrow looked to be in control when Jarrod Sammut converted Shane Toal's try in the 58th minute for an 18-8 advantage, but Oli Leyland crossed with six minutes to go before Walker finished it off.
There was also late drama as Batley Bulldogs held Featherstone 20-20.
Featherstone thought they had won it when Ryley Jacks crossed in the 72nd minute for a two-point lead, but Luke Hooley kicked a penalty to level it three minutes from time.
Dane Chisholm kicked for the posts to try to nick the win but came up short.
However, with Barrow held as well, Featherstone remain two points clear at the top of the table.
Bradford Bulls eased to a 26-12 win at Workington Town to leave the hosts still seeking their first win of the season.
Liam Tindall, Aaron Murphy and Thomas Doyle scored first-half tries for Bradford and Kieran Gill added a fourth five minutes after the break before the Bulls defence worked to frustrate Workington.
Newcastle Thunder held on for a 24-22 win away to Dewsbury Rams, who came from 18-4 down at the half to get within touching distance when Adam Ryder touched down nine minutes from time.
Mitch Clark was sin-binned in the 78th minute but Newcastle hung on for the win.
Sheffield Eagles punished short-handed Whitehaven to cruise to a 44-6 win in Cumbria.
The scores were level at 6-6 when Whitehaven's Guy Graham was sent off for a tip tackle with 20 minutes gone, but it was all Sheffield thereafter as Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e and Matty Chrimes scored two tries each while Joel Farrell, Ben Jones-Bishop, Kris Welham and Anthony Thackeray also crossed.
Sheffield also finished a man short with Joel Farrell seeing red after an hour.
