St Helens recorded an impressive 38-6 win at Hull FC to top Betfred Super League on points difference.
Hull paid tribute to club legend Johnny Whiteley before kick-off following the death of their former player and coach at the age of 91.
Saints made the most of Hull indiscipline to run in six tries through Josh Simm (2), Mark Percival, Jack Welsby, Sione Mata'utia and Lewis Dodd.
Hull played most of the game a man short after Connor Wynne's yellow card was followed by Luke Gale's red. Gale was sent off for catching Jonny Lomax's right thigh after he tried to charge down with a raised boot in the air.
Huddersfield Giants also secured a second successive win by beating Hull KR 26-12. Tries from Chris McQueen, Luke Yates, Josh Jones and Jermaine McGillvary took the Giants into a 20-0 lead.
Rovers were back in it when Jordan Abdull converted tries from Brad Takairangi and Mikey Lewis, reducing the deficit to eight points. But McGillvary's second score after Chris Hill's yellow card had reduced the hosts to 12 saw the Giants home.
Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves maintained 100 per cent records. Warriors full-back Jai Field claimed a superb hat-trick in a 34-12 victory over Leeds Rhinos at the DW Stadium.
Sam Powell touched down twice either side of Field running 90 metres for his third, and Liam Farrell added a sixth try.
Leeds old boy Zak Hardaker added three conversions to Field's two, while Blake Austin and Matt Prior crossed for the Rhinos.
Warrington coach Daryl Powell saw his Wolves overpower his old club Castleford Tigers 34-10.
Josh Charnley (2), Matty Ashton, George Williams, Rob Mulhern and former Tiger Peter Mata'utia crossed for Warrington, with Stefan Ratchford landing five conversions.
Derrell Olpherts and Jake Trueman touched down for Tigers with Gareth O'Brien adding a conversion.
Salford Red Devils made it five teams with two wins by beating Toulouse Olympique 38-12 on Sunday. Ken Sio was the Salford hero with four tries, two of them coming in the opening 11 minutes, before Ryan Brierley and Marc Sneyd went over for converted scores.
Chris Hankinson converted his own try to make it 20-6 and give Toulouse some hope at the break. Sefa Paulo collected Tony Gigot's grubber kick and Hankinson added the extras to reduce the deficit further.
But Tim Lafai eased Salford concerns and Sio completed his hat-trick before intercepting a Toulouse pass to run almost the length of the pitch for his fourth try.
Last season's beaten Grand Finalists Catalans Dragons edged out Wakefield Trinity 24-22 for a first win of the season. Matthieu Laguerre, Fouad Yaha, Samisoni Langi and Benjamin Garcia scored Dragons' tries, with eight points from the boot of Sam Tomkins.
Tom Johnstone (2), Matt Jowitt and Tom Lineham replied with Trinity tries.
