Pulseroll to help England’s Rugby League teams prepare for World Cup

Pulseroll to help England’s Rugby League teams prepare for World Cup

Leading British muscle recovery brand, Pulseroll, has partnered with England Rugby League as the official muscle recovery supplier of the England Men’s, Women’s and Wheelchair teams.

Pulseroll’s scientifically proven percussion based recovery technology will support all three England Rugby League sides as they prepare for next year’s re-scheduled home World Cup (RLWC2021). The tournament, which will now kick off at Newcastle’s St James’s Park in October 2022 - with the men’s and Women’s finals taking place next door to Pulseroll’s HQ at Old Trafford in November - will make history as the first time the tournament has staged the Men’s, Women’s and Wheelchair competitions at the same time.

In the build up to and during the tournament, players and medical staff from all three England teams will have access to Pulseroll’s range of massage guns, vibrating foam rollers and vibrating massage balls, all of which have been proven to help increase range motion by up to 14% and relieve muscular pain by increasing blood flow to the muscles by 22%.

On the partnership, Pulseroll Founder, Paul McCabe, said: We are delighted to be working with the Rugby Football League and supporting all three England teams as they prepare for the World Cup next year. A home World Cup, with the Mens, Womens and Wheelchair competitions on at the same time, is a fantastic moment for rugby league and a celebration of this great sport.

Due to the physical nature of rugby, the right recovery is key to staying fit and preparing right. The players have been made to wait an extra year, with Covid unfortunately delaying the tournament in 2021, so we will do everything we can to help them prepare properly and enter the tournament in the best possible shape.”

RFL Head of Partnerships, Bobby Bahadori, adds: “Rugby League players love Pulseroll products and England players took the opportunity to use them ahead of 2021’s end-of-season internationals in France. Pulseroll will be a valued partner as we head into World Cup year.”

Pulseroll was founded by Paul McCabe in 2016, when he launched the UK’s first vibrating foam roller. Today the company offers seven vibrating massage devices which are scientifically proven to improve circulation, blood flow and recovery from ‘delayed onset muscle soreness’ by 22% and increase flexibility by 14%.

Pulseroll products include two sizes of massage gun, two foam rollers and two different shaped massage balls. All products are developed with built-in quiet noise technology and the intensity of the foam rollers and vibrating massage balls is managed through a remote control allowing for a much smoother process when changing the vibration speed.
