Workington Town secured promotion the Betfred Championship after beating Doncaster RLFC 36-12 in the League One play-off final at Derwent Park.
Workington, who finished the regular season in second place behind their Cumbrian neighbours Barrow, led from the front with six tries to thwart their opponents.
Joe Brown set the tone as he crossed from the hosts' first attack of the game, with Carl Forber kicking the first of what would be a perfect six conversions.
Doncaster rallied to level through a Liam Johnson try and the first of two Matty Beharrell conversions, but responses from Conor Fitzsimmons and Forber re-established Workington's advantage.
It was always going to be a tough ask for Doncaster, who finished the regular season in fifth place, but they gave themselves a glimmer of hope when Oliver Greensmith went over in the corner to trim the deficit to six points at the break.
But Workington were in no mood to be denied and they re-established their firm grip on the proceedings when Matty Henson went over for a converted try shortly after the restart.
Eager to join both Barrow and neighbours Whitehaven in the second tier, Workington kept pressing and further tries from Marcus O'Brien and Brad Holroyd got the promotion party started.
