Swinton Lions who recently achieved England Talent Pathway Accredited Partner status have released the dates for their ETP development days for Autumn 2021 – Spring 2022, all sessions will be held at training fields alongside the AJ Bell Stadium.
The sessions are open access for players from U12 – U16 (Based on the 2022 Season age groups) and are targeted both at young people already regularly taking part and those who are brand new to the sport.
Doug Owen Swinton’s Head of Youth said:
“These sessions are there to support the great work of the community club coaches and local schools and provide an extra tier of development for players, whilst at the same time allowing them to have fun and make new friends.
"The Development Days are an important part of the jigsaw to have full player pathway for the club.â€
RFL National Talent Inclusion Manager Phil Jones said:
“It is great to see Swinton’s planned ETP delivery which is reaching out into Trafford and the wider Manchester area, especially as it will help engage players new to the sport.â€
