Ladbrokes Challenge Cup third round draw

Ladbrokes Challenge Cup third round draw

England and St Helens prop forward Alex Walmsley and Salford Red Devils hooker Kriss Brining will conduct the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup third round draw live on the BBC Sport website on Tuesday, February 13 (from 7.00pm).

Rugby League World Cup finalist, Walmsley, who recently signed a new four-year deal with Saints, began his playing career with community side Dewsbury Celtic and Leeds Beckett University before joining Championship side Batley Bulldogs and then making the step up to Super League.

He'll be joined by Brining, who joined Salford ahead of the 2017 season from League 1 club York City Knights. In his first year he helped Salford finish fourth at the end of the regular season and reach a Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-final for the first time since 1998.

Fourteen Betfred League 1 teams will enter the draw for the third round alongside the 12 winning sides from the second round of the competition, which all take place on Saturday, February 10.
