Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-final venues confirmed

Both venues for the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-finals have been confirmed and games will be televised live on the BBC over the weekend of Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30.

The first semi-final, Hull FC v Leeds Rhinos, will be played at the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster on Saturday, July 29 and will be televised live on BBC One with a 2.30pm kick-off.

Hull FC, who are the current holders of the Cup, last met Leeds in a semi-final in 2000; the Rhinos just edged past them that day 28-22.  


Salford Red Devils made their first semi-final since 1998 after beating Wakefield Trinity and will play Wigan Warriors, 19-time Challenge Cup winners, at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington on Sunday, July 30 (BBC Two, 2.30pm).

Tickets for both semi-finals will go on sale via participating clubs at 10.00am on Wednesday, June 21.

The following prices apply for both matches: Adults from £20 (£3 discount available to season ticket holders), Concessions from £15 (£2 discount available to season ticket holders), Juniors (16 and under) from £10 (£1 discount available to season ticket holders. Under 2s are free but require a match ticket.


The schedule for the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-finals is as follows:

Saturday, July 29 – Hull FC v Leeds Rhinos (BBC One, 2.30pm kick-off)

Sunday, July 30 – Wigan Warriors v Salford Red Devils (BBC Two, 2.30pm kick-off)

Over 20,000 seats in Wembley Stadium for the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup final on Saturday, August 26 are priced at £30 or less and junior tickets have been introduced this year, starting at £5 – a family of four can attend the final for £50.
