Cougars pounce to crush Crusaders
Keighley bounced back from their defeat by Oldham to beat North Wales Crusaders 32-6 in a Kingstone Press League 1 semi-final at Cougar Park.
Winger Paul White scored a hat-trick of tries for the Cougars, the others coming from Matthew Bailey, player-coach Paul March and Andy Gabriel, with Danny Lawton kicking four goals.
Alex Thompson's 22nd-minute try, converted by Tommy Johnson, had briefly helped the Crusaders level the scores at 6-6 but the home side responded by running in 26 unanswered points.
