In the Premier Division Play-Offs this week Thatto Heath St Helens welcomed Featherstone Rovers and it was the home side who emerged with a 34-12 win to progress to the final.

Featherstone’s two tries came courtesy of Katie Miller and Brogan Churn with Natalie Gilmour converting both.

However, the home side battled hard for the win with tries from Amy Smith, Sammi Simpson, Paige Costello, Jodie Cunningham, Faye Gaskin and Dani Bound.

Amy Smith further increased her tally with five goals and the player-of-the-match award for Thatto Heath went to Jenny Welsby.

In the Division One Play-Off it was Wigan St Patricks who hosted Leigh Miners Rangers and in the end the home side battled to a 19-8 win to progress to the final.

In Division One West Craven Warriors hosted Selby and it was the travelling side who left with a 48-36 win.

Selby’s Yas Copeland led the way with three tries and eight goals and there were two tries for Jodie Cliff.

Selby’s win was completed with tries for Laura Stanworth and Gemma Clapham.
