In the Premier Division Play-Offs this week Featherstone Rovers welcomed Normanton Knights.

In a particularly dominant second-half display it was Featherstone who progressed with a 44-12 win.

Normanton’s tries came courtesy of Katie Hepworth and Ellie Lamb with Hepworth converting both tries.

However, it was the home side who had the edge and bagged the win, Featherstone’s tries came from Nat Gilmour, Kayleigh Bulman, Andrea Dobson, Gemma Walsh, Katie Miller, Brogan Churm, Nat Harrowell and Jess Hammond. Nat Gilmour was on target with SIX goals to seal a superb win.

In the other play-off match Bradford Thunderbirds hosted Thatto Heath St Helens and it was another home win with Bradford carding a 24-10 victory.

Bradford’s tries came from Rhiannon Marshall, Michelle Greenwood, Stacey Wilson and Lois Forsell.

Jess Courtman converted one try and Rhiannon Marshall got two.

Thatto’s Jennie Pendelbury scored both of their tries with Katie May Williams converting one.

The player-of-the-match awards went to Bradfords Shona Hoyle and Thatto Heath’s Jennie Pendelbury.

In the Division One Play-Offs Stanningley hosted Wigan St Patricks and the home side earned a 28-14 win.

Sophie Robinson led the way for Stanningley with two tries and there was once each for Lindsay Cunnett, Aimee Staveley and Rachel Barker. Player-of-the-match Jodie Litherland landed four conversions.

Wigan St Patricks never gave up and scored tries through Lana McCabe, Millie Bretherton and Katie Dean, Charlotte Foley converted one try.
