FAN ZONE

There is a dedicated fan zone for all Rugby League fans on the East Side of the stadium. East Village offers supporters the chance to enjoy food and drink (including alcohol) while listening to the latest sounds from our resident DJ. They are the perfect place to soak up the pre-match party atmosphere with fellow fans. The fan zone will be open from 10.00, with alcoholic drinks not available until 11am, and close 30 minutes prior to kick-off. They will stop serving alcohol one hour before kick-off. Supporters will need to present a valid stadium ticket to enter the fan zone and spaces are limited. The stadium’s bag policy (see below) also applies to anyone visiting the fan zone.

IN BOWL ENTERTAINMENT

Bringing the energy is go-to hype DJ Tony Perry. Perry is synonymous with Wembley Stadium having DJ’d for England football and England Rugby Six Nations amongst countless other blockbuster events. He has previously curated special match day mixes, including for the Rugby League World Cup back in 2021, and is ready to launch the Ashes series with a new, unique mix for all ages.
Returning to the Wembley stage is Laura Wright who will sing England’s National Anthem at all three England v Australia Ashes games this Autumn. Wright, one of the world’s leading classical artists, is no stranger to the world of Rugby League having performed at the Super League Grand Final for almost a decade. She has featured at numerous other major sporting events, including the recent NFL London series and the Invictus Games. Singing the Australian National Anthem is Australian-French mezzo-soprano Rebecca Hart.
Hosting the event is the voice of Rugby League, Pete Nuttall, who will be joined by Rich Williams who can be heard across Virgin Radio UK. Williams brings vast experience to the team having hosted various major sporting events, including the Rugby League World Cup and Women’s Euros.
And we’re also bringing back our fan engagement platform, Vixi Suite, so fans can get themselves up on the big screen. But watch out for our roaming cams looking to catch you out with some snapchat filters. There will also be live polls and quizzes to test your Ashes knowledge.
