The result came as something of a surprise, ending Biganos' ten-game winning run, but Thatto, who led 24-0 at half time, were dominant throughout.
With entry to the game free of charge, the game enjoyed a bumper crowd with an estimated 300 people turning out.

For good measure, the Ladies' A team took centre stage in the side's league campaign and picked up an impressive 38-24 win over Wigan St Patricks earlier in the day.
In a hugely successful weekend for the club, their NCL Division One side picked up a hard-earned 28-4 win at Hunslet Warriors, while their North West Men's League Premier Division team took a 24-0 walkover against Widnes West Bank which propelled them up to second in the table.
Thatto Heath are one of the country’s leading community clubs and host 17 teams in total, including two Open Age sides, all boy's/men's age groups from under 7s to 18s, plus under 5s 'cubs', plus a vibrant Girl's and Women’s section.
