
On Sunday, the first round of the Women's Challenge Cup took place.
Stanningley Ladies hosted Bradford Bulls and it was the travelling side who emerged with a 58-6 victory.
Bradford's Amy Hardcastle and Shona Hoyle both scored three tries each, as Rhiannon Marshall and Stacey White both scored twice. There was also one try each for Charlene Hennigan, Lois Forsell and Jess Courtman, Courtman converting four tries.
Stanningley's Heather McDonald scored the hosts' try with Tasha Gaines adding the conversion.
Elsewhere, Selby Warriors welcomed Army RL Ladies but fell to a 16-22 defeat, while Leigh Miners Rangers welcomed Brighouse Rangers - the home side powered to a 58-0 victory.
Georgia Sutherland led the charge with four tries and one goal.
There were two tries each for Grace Morley and Serena Tamou, as Rhian Boag, Jenna Banks and Emily Mullen all scored one try each, Mullen adding four goals.
The Player of the match for Leigh Miners was winger Grace Morley.
Finally, Thatto Heah St Helens made the journey to Normanton Knights and it was another away win with Thatto progressing to the next round courtesy of a 62-4 win.
Featherstone Rovers, Lindley Swifts and Wigan St Patricks all enjoyed byes.
