The Women’s Nines Festival will return in 2026 at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, on Saturday 2 May.
Stepping away from its traditional format, this year’s festival will include two separate competitions: a Challenge Grade and a Community Grade. The introduction of these grades allows more community teams to get involved, whilst maintaining competitive and enjoyable matches for all participants.
All Star teams from the Betfred Women’s Super League will be joining the Challenge Grade including last year’s winners Wigan Warriors. Whilst the Community Grade hosts a diverse group of talented clubs from across leagues one through three of the Women’s community division.
