On this day in 1988, Great Britain Rugby League defeated Australia 12-26 at the Sydney Football Stadium in the Final Test of the Ashes Series.
Despite the Kangaroos having already sealed the Ashes, this is one of Great Britain's most memorable victories over Australia with Henderson Gill crossing twice alongside tries from Mike Gregory, Phil Ford and Martin Offiah.
Gill would go down in Rugby League folklore with a legendary celebration.
