
National social care charity Community Integrated Care have launched fundraising campaign 'Shirts That Care' with the Rugby Football League, giving fans a chance to own a unique piece of the game’s history.
32 signed shirts from the men's, women's and wheelchair teams that competed at the Rugby League World Cup 2021 are available to bid for now on the charity's official ebay page.
All proceeds raised from ‘Shirts That Care’ will support Community Integrated Care, the official social care partner of the RFL.
With one-of-a-kind shirts from the likes Australia, England, New Zealand, Tonga and Samoa, 'Shirts That Care' gives bidders a chance to win a priceless World Cup memento and support the charity's work in rugby league communities.
Matt Price, who was supported by the charity to volunteer at the World Cup says:
"Community Integrated Care's work in rugby league has changed my life. I’ve had the chance to play the sport on the biggest stages, be part of their personal development programmes that have helped me secure a job. I know have a future that a few years ago I couldn’t even imagine.
“Every shirt sold will help more people like me to go on their own inspiring journey through the sport. We're grateful to Rugby League World Cup teams and players for their incredible donations to our charity. Don't miss your chance!"
The ‘Shirts That Care’ auction will be live on Community Integrated Care’s official eBay page, (https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/community-integrated-care) for 7 days, from Monday January 29, closing on Monday February 5.
