
Trials for the England Students Women’s Programme will take place over a two-week period across the country beginning later this month.
Head Coach Conor Meese said: “After a successful programme in 2022, we are really looking forward to relaunching in 2023 with a wider geographical footprint. This year will see additional trials take place in the south of England, alongside the heartland areas of Yorkshire and Lancashire.
“The team proved to be a key part of the female pathway during 2022, with eleven members progressing to the England Knights and saw Zoe Hornby selected into the England Senior World Cup squad”.
All applicants must currently be attending Sixth Form College or University during 2023 and if selected can compete in the Presidents Cup for England Students Women with fixtures in March and May.
There are opportunities to trial across Yorkshire, Northwest and the South at the end of January and start of February. Trial dates are as follows
· 21 January – Yorkshire trial at Kirkstall, Leeds
· 28 January – Southern trial & training session in South West London & Oxford
· 4 February – North West trial at Ruskin Park, St Helens

This year’s President Cups fixtures will take place on Wednesday 22 March,Wednesday 10 May and Wednesday 31 May.
