
The current public health crisis, and the suspension of the Rugby League season at all levels, has meant major disruption for everyone involved in the game – and that includes Groundsmen.
Like other national governing bodies, the Rugby Football League have remained in close contact with the Institute of Groundsmen – whose Director of Technical and Learning, Jason Booth, remains a familiar and popular figure at Emerald Headingley after spending 14 years with Leeds from 2000-14.
The IOG have produced guidance on Interim Works tailored to each sport – including Rugby League – which is free to access for members and non-members of the IOG.
