Bradford will host the third Physical Disability Rugby League (PDRL) Festival of the year this Sunday (May 14) at the city’s Tong Leadership Academy.
Fans of all variations of Rugby League are encouraged to come and experience the truly unique version of the game, which will feature many of England’s 2022 PDRL World Cup winners.
Eight teams will compete in the competition this weekend – hosts Bradford Bulls will be joined by Warrington Wolves, Wakefield Trinity, Castleford Tigers and Wigan Warriors with newcomers Hull FC, Hull KR and Salford Red Devils completing the fixture list.
Last month, PDRL hosted the second Festival of the year at the Kippax Welfare Ground in Leeds with Warrington Wolves, Castleford Tigers and Wakefield Trinity all going unbeaten on the day.
Bradford is the only time teams will meet before they head to Newcastle to take part in a Central Inclusion round which coincides with the Betfred Super League Magic Weekend on June 3/4. The event will include a whole weekend of PDRL and Learning Disability Super League action at Kingston Park with the Betfred Wheelchair Super League descending on the city the following week.
The action on Sunday will kick off at 10:30am.
