The RFL welcomed Ros and Lisa Sullivan, wife and daughter of the late, great Clive, to last weekend’s Betfred Challenge Cup triple header - to present them with two of the commemorative jerseys that have been produced by the RFL’s technical kit suppliers Oxen to mark the 50th anniversary of Clive Sullivan MBE leading Great Britain to their last World Cup win.
The presentation was made by the RFL and World Cup director Karen Moorhouse in front of the thousands of Hull KR supporters who travelled to Elland Road, and who gave Ros and Lisa a rousing reception.
A small number of the jerseys are still available from Oxen for £49.99, with £5 from each sale to be donated to the Marie Curie charity at the request of Ros, in memory of Clive’s death from cancer in 1985 at the tragically young age of 42. You can get yours here.
