Parent in Sport Week is a national awareness raising campaign run by the NSPCC, which is now in its sixth year.

This year we are supporting the campaign by reaching out to parents directly and high lighting the importance they play in the bigger safeguarding picture of sport.

However, to be able to support their child, parents need knowledge. That’s why this year’s campaign is focused on getting the right information and resources to parents, so that they can play their part and keep their child safe in sport.

The CPSU have created a short animation 'Speaking out in Sport' which you can access below:

In addition to this we ask all parents / carers to sign up to the CPSU free e-learning course by clicking HERE.

Your club will have a named Club Welfare Officer, its important that as a parent you know how to contact them should you need to report any concerns.

There is more information about this and how to report concern on the RFL website at rugby-league.com/governance/safeguarding.
