Featherstone end Bradford's winning run in style

Toulouse Olympique XIII maintained their 100 per cent start to the season by thumping Dewsbury Rams.

The visitors ran out 56-12 winners to ensure they remain two points ahead of Featherstone Rovers.

Jy Hitchcox grabbed a hat-trick while Mathieu Jussaume and Eloi Pelissier also grabbed two tries each. Mitch Garbutt, Justin Sangare and Hugo Pezet crossed for the French outfit as Mark Kheirallah kicked 16 points.

Paul Sykes and Dan Hawksworth were sin-binned either side of half-time as the Rams were reduced to 11 men but still managed to score through Alex Smith and Will Oakes' late consolation.

Featherstone, who have played a game more, completed their own rout to keep up the pressure at the top by beating Bradford Bulls 44-0.

The hosts had eight different try scorers as Craig Hall, Gareth Gale, Thomas Minns, Callum Field, Dean Parata, Will Dagger, Tom Holmes and Connor Jones as they eased past the third-placed Bulls.

Batley Bulldogs were able to gain ground on the Bulls as they beat Whitehaven 24-20.

Tom Lilycrop, Elliot Hall, Luke Hooley and Michael Ward went over to earn victory while Whitehaven, who had Toby Everett sin-binned in the 19th minute, saw Chris Taylor, Lachlan Walmsley, Karl Dixon, Andrew Bulman score.

Halifax Panthers beat York City Knights 30-6 with tries from Ben Kavanagh, Matt Garside, James Saltonstall, Brandon Moore, Nick Rawsthorne and Adam Tangata. Matty Marsh scored a consolation try for York.

Bottom-of-the-table Swinton Lions lost 36-30 to Newcastle Thunder as Ukuma Ta'ai, Bob Beswick, Matthew Wright's double, Connor Bailey and Calum Turner ensured victory for the visitors.

Both teams were reduced to 12 men after Luke Waterworth and Newcastle's Jay Chapelow were yellow carded in the 54th minute.

Will Hope's brace, Mitch Cox, Nick Gregson, Jack Hansen could not stop the Lions slipping to defeat as they continue to look for their first win of the season having lost all nine games so far.

Titus Gwaze's late try helped London Broncos edge out Widnes Vikings 24-22.

Abbas Miski, Rhys Curran, Romain Navarrete crossed for London while Danny Craven scored an early try before being sin-binned in the 11th minute for Widnes, who led after Deon Cross, Adam Lawton and Joe Edge all touched down, but Gwaze had the final say.

On Saturday, Robert Worrincy's hat-trick guided Sheffield Eagles to a 32-28 triumph over Oldham.

James Glover's brace and Aaron Brown added further tries for Sheffield. Max Roberts, Dan Abram, who scored 12 points in total, and late scores from Martin Reilly, Liam Kirk and Tommy Brierley made the scoreline more respectable for Oldham.
