New Club Process
If you are interested in setting up a Rugby League Club, team or looking to run activity within the sport for the first time, the Ages and Stages website below will help you to understand the different offers we have within a Rugby League setting and how the game is played.
There are lots of ways to get involved with our sport, regardless of your age, gender or physical ability!
If you are interested in setting up a new Rugby League Club in your area, here are a few steps for you to follow:
1) RFL Club Finder - Firstly check out the RFL Club Finder so you can understand existing offers currently up and running in your area.
2) New Club Guidance Document - Read the new Club Guidance document to understand the minimum requirements for setting up a new club.
4) Discuss Your Options - You will be referred to the relevant League or RFL contact who is responsible for the region or type of activity you are interested in starting up. Please refer to the RFL Club Support pages and Club Matters information for further guidance and support information.
5) Begin Rugby League Activity - The RFL and League will provide you with all the relevant registration information so you can get your players, coaches and volunteers signed up, before beginning activity.
The Club Support section contains a number of other sections that would be worthwhile you reviewing.
