Doncaster RLFC set up a play-off semi-final with Betfred League 1 runners-up Oldham after they saw off Newcastle Thunder 20-6 in Sunday's qualifying final at Kingston Park.
Sam Doherty crossed over early on for the visitors before former Newcastle centre Jason Tali added a second against his old club seven minutes before the break.
Frankie Mariano and Matty Chrimes claimed a try apiece in the second half with Matty Beharrell adding the extras to put Doncaster into a 20-0 lead.
Alex Clegg replied for Newcastle with two minutes remaining and Rhys Clarke added the conversion but it was too little too late as the home side set up a semi-final with Workington Town, who knocked out Hunslet RLFC in the elimination final.
Sean Penkywicz scored a brace of tries and Carl Forber added six goals as Workington recorded a 32-24 victory over Hunslet at South Leeds Stadium.
Workington got off to a strong start with Gordon Mauding crossing over in the opening minute before Tom Ashton replied for the home side.
Stevie Scholey and Ryan Wright were next to trade tries before Ashton completed his brace and put Hunslet ahead for the first time just before the half-hour mark.
Penkywicz scored his first five minutes ahead of the break before Jim Watson crossed over at the other end on the brink of half-time to make it 24-18 at the interval after Joe Sanderson added the extras.
But Workington came back stronger in the second half as Fuifui Moimoi's try eight minutes in levelled the scores and Penkywicz completed his double, while Forber kicked over a penalty and added the extras.
