Round 16 of Betfred League One saw Workington Town register back-to-back wins for the first time since April.
On Sunday, Town hosted Rochdale Hornets in a fiercely fought contest, with a single try separating the two sides. The Cumbrian outfit overturned a 0-6 deficit with tries from Jason Mossop and Henry Hadfield, as well as Jordan Burns' match-winner on the 67th minute.
The Hornets did respond late on through Daniel Spencer-Tonks to set up a nervy last few minutes, but the hosts would hold out to secure the two points.
Meanwhile, Oldham completed the double over North Wales Crusaders with a comfortable home win. The Roughyeds produced a dominant display in which debutant Kieran Dixon starred - scoring two tries and two goals in his side's six-try victory.
The win saw Oldham return to the top of the League One table, while the Crusaders suffered their second straight defeat.
Hunslet were also victors away at Newcastle in Round 16. A waterlogged pitch would see the game switched to play at nearby rugby union club, Blaydon RFC, rather than Gateshead, but this wouldn't stop Hunslet from running riot in the heavy rain.
Betfred League One Round 16 results:
