Following another successful season in 2023 – applications are now open for new and existing clubs to join the Women’s and Girls Leagues in 2024.
2023 was a history making year for the domestic game with the first Women’s Challenge Cup Final played at Wembley Stadium and record attendances achieved at Featherstone Rovers, Leigh Leopards and York Valkyrie. The groundbreaking RugBees programme was also launched in a season that saw participation levels at an all-time high in the girls’ community game.
The RFL will continue to offer a range of playing opportunities in 2024 from Under-11s to Open Age – including structured and competitive leagues for existing clubs, as well as a merit style development league for new clubs who are looking to start a female section.
The application form should be completed by new and existing clubs, the respective Management Groups will then review these applications and confirm entrants and the playing structures for 2024 in the New Year.
The application deadline for the Women’s League is Monday 11th December. The Girls League deadline is Friday 5th January. Please apply using one of the following links:
