Hull KR scored two late tries to break Toulouse hearts in the 22-16 win for the Robins at Craven Park.

Rovers took an early lead when Elliot Minchella spotted a gap and dived over after 14 minutes.

20 minutes in, Toulouse struck back as they spread the ball to their left and Matty Russell touched down in the corner. Chris Hankinson levelled the score with his conversion from out wide.

Toulouse then took the lead in rather fortunate circumstances. A grubber kick through ricoched off Will Tate and was dropped by Phoenix Laulu-Togagag'e, Toulouse Prop, Daniel Alvaro picked up the loose ball and touched down for his first Super League try. Hankinson converted to take Toulouse into the break with a 12-6 advantage.

Olympique started the half the stronger. Latrell Schaumkel was found in space out wide on their right and touched down in the corner. Hankinson failed to convert, but Toulouse had the 16-6 lead with just over half an hour to go.

In-form winger Ethan Ryan bridged the gap as he touched down out wide from a Rowan Milnes kick. Milnes converted to reduce the gap to six points with just over 20 minutes remaining.

Rovers scored two quick tries in the final 10 minutes to snatch the points from Toulouse. First through Frankie Halton and then Milnes touched down to put Hull KR into a 22-16 lead with only five minutes to go.

Toulouse tried their best to take the game to golden point, however they were unable.

Olympique remain bottom of the table with five games remaining. They will take on 10th place Warrington Wolves next weekend live on Sky Sports.

Meanwhile Hull KR kept their play-off hopes alive as they moved up to eigth in the table.
