Hull prop Brad Fash signs three-year contract extension

Hull prop Brad Fash has been rewarded for a promising start to the season with a three-year contract extension.

The 22-year-old forward, who was Hull’s young player of the year in 2017, has caught the eye as a substitute for the Black and Whites in their last four Betfred Super League matches to establish himself in coach Lee Radford’s squad.

Radford said: “Brad has been at the club for a very long time now and we’re lucky to have a player like him, another player who has come through our scholarship system.

“He’s one of the most low maintenance players I’ve ever worked with. He’s not the biggest player but he makes up for it with his determination.

“Like all members of the squad, Brad will only get better and that’s one of the reasons why we wanted to sign him up to a new deal. He’s got a very bright future ahead of him.”

Fash is the club’s second young front rower to extend his deal following the departure of Liam Watts after Masi Matongo was given a new three-year contract a week ago.

“I’m really happy to have signed the new deal,” Fash said.

“I’ve come through the academy system and I’m delighted to tie down my future with the club. It’s where I want to be."
