Leigh Centurions 24-10 Hull FC

Leigh Centurions suffered their fifth consecutive Betfred Super League defeat as Carlos Tuimavave's two tries helped Hull FC to a 24-10 win on the road.

Inspired by half-backs Albery Kelly and Marc Sneyd, Hull scored three tries in quick succession during a devastating 11-minute first-half spell to take a grip on the game.

Hull led 18-0 after half an hour and rarely looked in danger as they produced the perfect response after conceding more than 50 points in their last two games against Salford Red Devils and Leeds Rhinos.

Liam Watts, Tuimavave and Albert Kelly all crossed in the opening 28 minutes on Hull's first visit to Leigh Sports Village.

Tuimavave added his second 12 minutes into the secold half before Liam Hood and Ryan Hampshire scored late tries for the hosts.

Hull head coach Lee Radford said: "I thought we did a really good job today. We defended well when Leigh had sustained spells of pressure and the win gives us something to build on.

"The tempo and decision making was better than it has been over the last three or four weeks. I was really pleased with how we performed."

Leigh head coach Neil Jukes said: "I thought we created enough chances but couldn't get the ball down. Defensively I was disappointed with the tries Hull scored.

"We ticked a lot of boxes for working hard but we have to get a lot tighter in certain areas of our game."
