Barrow Raiders have signed former England International Shaun Lunt for the 2021 Betfred League 1 season.
Lunt appeared for England in 2010 as well as representing England Knights on two occasions.
The hooker lifted the Betfred Super League in 2012 with Leeds Rhinos and also featured in the Challenge Cup Final in the same season.
Lunt’s career began with spells at Castleford Tigers and Workington Town before joining Huddersfield Giants for a stint spanning six seasons. The 33-year-old made over 123 appearances for the Giants, notching an impressive 70 tries and winning the League Leaders’ Shield.
He went on to represent Hull Kingston Rovers for four seasons before signing for Betfred Championship side Batley Bulldogs for the 2020 season.
