Leeds Beckett continued their flawless season with yet another win as they beat Hull 42-18 at home.

Leeds Beckett's Sian Jones got over the line four times this week to help his side towards a solid win.

Zack Mcomb scored twice and the eventual Man of the Match winner, Beckett winger Louis Godfrey, also got on the scoresheet.

The remaining scorers for the home team were Jacob Morgan and Mateo Zafino, but Sam Druce was only able to convert three from nine attempts.

Their assistant coach, Paul Cook, said: "It was a tough last game before Christmas against a dogged Hull side and both teams were carrying injuries."

The away side only managed three tries courtesy of Matty Neal, Richard Gibb and David Kitenge and all were converted by Ryan Langton.

Hull's Kitenge congratulated Leeds Beckett on topping the table.

He also added: "I'm really pleased with all of the lads today. It was a massive effort in the first half and we just ran out of steam in the second half, with too many one-on-one missed tackles."

The only other match in the Premier North this week saw another home win, as Leeds beat the University of Nottingham 40-22.
