St Helens prop Alex Walmsley reflected on another 'frustrating' result for the Great Britain Lions as they slipped to a 23-8 defeat at the hands of New Zealand.
After the game, the Grand Final winner said: "We're putting so much effort, grit and determination into our performances but obviously we're just lacking in a few key areaswhich is costing us.
"It's frustrating. At this level, if you're not taking opportunities you get punished and sadly that was the case tonight," added the prop, who came off the bench in Christchurch.
"They've got world class players across the ptich.
"You give them a sniff and they're going to score. We're world class as well but ultimately when we've been given these opporunities we've not quite taken them which is costing us.
"But there's one thing you cant knock from this team and that's effort. We've got that in bucketloads but we'e just lacking in key areas."
The Lions will be looking to end the Tour on a high when they travel to Port Moresby for a clash with Papua New Guinea next Saturday.
