Leigh Centurions booked their place in the Coral Challenge Cup Fifth Round with a convincing 36-10 win over Batley Bulldogs at the Leigh Sports Village on Friday night.
Iain Thornley scored twice in a dominant first half for the Centurions, who led 24-6 at the break.
Though Leeds Rhinos loanee Tyler Dupree scored for Batley on 15 minutes, Luke hooley with the goal, tries from Danny Addy - the Leigh captain's first for the club - and Liam Hood put the home side in control.
Ben Reynolds kicked four goals from four attempts
Leigh added ten more points in the second period through Ben Hellewell and Adam Higson either side of the hour mark, Reyolds making it six from six with the boot, meaning George Senior's unconverted try for the Bulldogs proved fruitless.
