Tom Burgess clocked up an incredible 246 running metres as South Sydney Rabbitohs stormed to a 35-6 win over Brisbane Broncos on Thursday.
Though he didn't trouble the scorers, he covered more distance than any other player, with his achievement made more remarkable by the fact that he spent just 48 minutes on the pitch.

Josh Hodgson, Ryan Sutton, George Williams and Elliot Whitehead all featured from the start as Canberra Raiders were on the end of a 30-10 defeat at the hands of Penrith Panthers away from home on Friday.
In a match which saw the Panthers dominate throughout, Hodgson took his total tackles for the season to 190 - the most of any Canberra player.
Sutton managed 30 tackles in 48 minutes on the pitch, Williams clocked 206 kicking metres and Whitehead ended his day's work with a try assist.
Meanwhile on Saturday, Luke Thompson provided a rare bright spot with his first NRL try in Canterbury Bulldogs' 52-18 home defeat by Melbourne Storm.
The 25 year old former St Helens prop was one of the Bulldogs' top performers on a disappointing night. His 21st-minute try was part of a 50 minute shift which included 150 metres and 23 tackles.
