London Broncos’ James Cunningham pleaded Not Guilty to a Grade F charge of ‘Use of Unacceptable Language’ and has been found Not Guilty.
The tribunal agree the charge was correct to be brought before it with this manner of charge being an extremely serious matter.
Having read the Investigators Report and listened to submissions, the tribunal did not feel there was enough evidence to prove guilt.
The player was therefore found Not Guilty.
Widnes Vikings’ William Tilleke pleaded Guilty to a Grade F charge of ‘Use of Unacceptable Language’ but challenged the grading.
However, the grading at Grade F was found to be correct by the tribunal but given the unique circumstances of the case and submissions the panel handed a six-game suspension and a £25 fine to Tilleke.
