Featherstone Rovers’ LD Nutrition Stadium is the venue this Saturday (21 September) for a mouth-watering Yorkshire Men’s Rugby League triple-header.
The action gets underway at 11am when Wyke face Ossett Trinity Tigers in the Division 2 play-off final, followed by Elland versus Brighouse Rangers at 1pm to decide the destiny of the Division 1 title.
At 3pm it’s the big one: the Yorkshire Men’s League Premier Division Final, featuring the division’s top two sides – runaway table-toppers Bentley from Doncaster and rivals East Hull.
RFL community game competitions manager, Chris Godfrey, says: “All three finals pit runaway leaders against runners-up, but anything can happen in a one-off game. The regular season belonged to Bentley and they have twice beaten their rivals this season, but East Hull emerged victorious 25-18 last time the sides met just three weeks ago so this one could go to the wire.
“On behalf of the RFL I’d like to congratulate all six clubs on their efforts this season and wish them the very best of luck on Saturday.”
Admission to what promises to be a sunlit spectacular of rugby league is just £3 or £1 (concessions).
