Tag Rugby League was showcased at one of the biggest stages in UK sport this weekend when select Try Tag Rugby teams from London and Yorkshire played at St James' Park stadium, Newcastle.
Try Tag Rugby, partners of the Rugby Football League, were invited to showcase the sport during half-time of Castleford Tigers' clash with Leeds Rhinos on Sunday, which attracted a crowd of over 30,000 as part of the weekend.

Try Tag Rugby London defeated Try Tag Rugby Yorkshire 5-3 in front of a vocal and healthy crowd - with Haylie-May Hields scoring the winning try for London after some nice build up work by Caroline Henzell and Jay Beare:
Team London also won the 40-minute warm-up game which took place outside St James' Park, 11-8, against Yorkshire prior to the main event.
